Fraser
Director, Head Coach & Therapist

Fraser is a Sports Therapist, Master Myofascial Practitioner, Personal Trainer & Boxing / Kick Boxing Coach.  

He has been involved in sport for almost all of his memorable life, starting boxing and tennis at the age of 8 and went on to become National Light-Middleweight Boxing Champion, a 3 Weight British Kick Boxing Champion, Part of Team GB and is the Former World Light-Middle Weight Bronze Medallist, with a Highest Ranking of World 3rd.  

Starting his career in the Health & Fitness Industry over 30 years ago by coaching other boxing clubmates, Fraser enjoyed it so much it was only a matter of time before he ditched working in finance, and swapped out to full time Personal Trainer and Boxing Coach. 

With more questions than answers when working with training injuries, Fraser rolled up his selves and got medical. Consequently he is now a Qualified Sports Injury Therapist, Master Myofascial Practitioner, Corrective Exercise Therapist, Personal Trainer and Boxing & Kick Boxing Coach. Fraser like many on the team, has never stopped in his pursuit of further knowledge and personal academic and practical development.  His current academic challenges are a Masters in Osteopathy and the continued study of Myofascial Therapy.

He says “ I am so glad with the first steps I took into the training others, but the bigger steps were to move into the medical side of Health & Fitness. It is a natural progression, totally consuming and it gives a much more detailed picture of how best to work with Patients and Clients alike.

Not only that, in the last 5 years whilst working more with Myofascial Therapy, it has taken me to a place where I can work with patients that cannot exercise due to pain, restriction, and postural issues.

It really is a tough place for a person to be, as movement and gaining strength through movement is part of the prescription for improved everyday living, but without the correct guidance it is very difficult to get past the initial stages. That is one of many reasons why I love my job and thoroughly enjoy working at our studio in London W1”.

Carolina
Yoga Teacher & Massage Therapist

“I have been interested in movement my entire life. I consider myself an observer, a researcher and an admirer of human movement and the way people articulate gestures and postures”.  

With BA in Dance, a Certified Yoga Teacher and Massage therapist, Carolina also has training in somatic movement disciplines -among them Feldenkrais and Eutonia (both disciplines that teach how to observe movement and the comprehension of the human being),  and has also trained in martial arts (Kalaripayattu/indian martial art & Kung-Fu).  

In 2001 she was introduced to Ashtanga Yoga as part of herdance training in Santiago, Chile. In 2009 she moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she started to teach Yoga consistently, working in cultural centers, gyms and with private clients.

Since moving to London two years later she has not looked back and has been teaching yoga  to private high end clients, through to the socially disadvantaged.

Carolina believes these diverse experiences have given her insight and understanding that every person has something particular and fascinating to work with.

Her Yoga teaching focus on body mechanics, posture foundations and the intrinsic relation between hips and spine.  Clients have expressed that they awaken a sense of their body awareness after a class. They also profess to feeling lighter, longer, stronger, calmer and more relaxed. Most importantly they relate to their bodies in a better way.

Carolina’s holistic massage promotes a strong sense of wellbeing and provides deep muscle relief. The massage consists of a full body massage using different strokes for specific purpose such as relaxation, stimulation, tension release, muscle shaping & release, and increase in range of motion.

Pressure application is adapted to each client’s individual needs, however it is never intrusive or painful. The massage works on the bigger primary muscles of the body and is recommended to anyone who is in need of body restoration, relaxation and vitality.

Being a massage therapist has given me the opportunity to use my senses in an extraordinary way, as the massage allows a non-verbal communication between the therapist and receiver. Massage is a sacred healing practice and I respect every single aspect of it hence my dedication to make every treatment a unique experience.

Manuel
Personal Trainer & Therapist

Manuel is a Soft Tissue Therapist, Myofascial Practitioner & Personal Trainer.

His love of fitness has been a lifelong passion.  Form the very start, at the age of 6 and joining the gymnastics team, the die was cast with Manuel falling in love with the sport.

From there gymnastics fostered a fascination with how the body can adapt to control movement and constantly develop in new ways, inspiring Manuel to always push himself to new heights and question to understand.

With gymnastics as his first love and moving from Italy to London, Manuel began to develop and learn new methods of training such as Strength & Conditioning and particularly CrossFit which became the tipping point and opened a new world, combining elements of gymnastics with weight training, leading Manuel to become a CrossFit trainer part time and eventually full time after gaining Qualifications as a Personal Trainer.

In combination with his early experience and qualifications, Manuel has since become a bachelor’s Level, Soft Tissue Therapist, a Calisthenics Practitioner and has the experience of thousands of hours of Personal Training, Soft Tissue Therapy and Client Consultation as his skill set.

With this diverse knowledge of sport, training, therapy and movement, Manual  works on a holistic platform that also includes the mental and lifestyle aspects of health and fitness. Also like many on the team, he has never stopped in his pursuit of further knowledge and personal academic and practical development with his current challenge being a Masters in Osteopathy.

Veronica

Veronica is a professional with more than 2 decades dedicated to studying and practising body movement.

Her passion and curiosity led her to explore and practice, since an early age, a diversity of methods and types of classes such as ballet modern, contemporary dance, capoeira, martial arts, Yoga, Gyrotonic, functional exercises and more.

But, in 1999, her mother introduced her to the Yoga, and she definitely falling in love for this holistic and profound practice, one a year later, she’d completed your first Yoga teacher training (500h) since then she's been teaching and practising different styles of Yoga, such as Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, and Iyengar Yoga.

2001 taking a step forward with BSc Physical Education and Sport Science over 4 years covering, human anatomy,physiology, biochemistry, biomechanics, kinesiology, nutrition, and sportsmedicine and during this degree encountered Pilates for the first time 2003.Training with at Rodrigo Mayer's Studio, one of the Romana Kryzanowska's disciple (Romana’s was the most distinguished Joseph's Pilates students) she has never stopped training and studying. The method brought a unique understanding of the movement and adding more tools to help everyone develop their bodies in a truly effective approach.

In 2011, she received her first Comprehensive Pilates certified from Power Pilates®, a renowned classical Pilates teacher training program, and later qualify as a Polestar®Pilates Matwork, one of the most recognizable Pilates training in the world. When became a mom, she began the most challenging yet beautiful and transformational adventure in her life and she loves sharing all her experience from that heartfelt space. So for that she specialised in Pre and Postnatal movement, where she can show her passion about empowering women through the movement and giving them during this unique moment, support and resilience.

Currently, Veronica is finishing her second comprehensive Pilates course, and also diving deep in the study of fascia and Myofascial Chains.

Her mission is to guide her students to a place where they fully understand and embrace their bodies and they may take that input with them and into their live, freedom the movement in a functional intelligent manner.

Youzhong Wu has a broad scope of practice with services ranging from Medical Qigong & Tai Ji, to the Clinical Therapy Setting of Acupuncture, Tuina Massage & Cupping.

Youzhong Wu’s medical career started 30 years ago when he got his first bachelor medical degree in Western medicine from Nanjing medical university and at this time he also started his deep practice of Qigong & Tai Ji which has now amounted to over 33 years.

During his time working in a hospital he found a lot of patients lost their chance to survive and this motivated him to reflect on the flaws of western medicine and he turned his attention to traditional Chinese medicine, which has been helping Chinese people for more than a thousand years. 

Consequently he went into and has acquired his second bachelor's degree and a master degree from Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine University, rated the best Traditional Chinese Medical University in China.  

During all these years of his clinical practicing, both in Chinese hospitals and UK independent clinics, Dr Wu has been continuously improving his clinical skills and integrating different treatment methods for the sole purpose to serve his patients, to relieve their suffering, to cure their diseases and improve their health.

Due to his experiences and training, he has been invited to give lectures to local doctors about Traditional Chinese Medicine and also to write regularly for medical journals and consequently has published many articles about Traditional Chinese Medicine.  In doing so and with his unique expertise and rich experiences, he has won over the trust of many patients and loyal students from all walks of life including the elite and medical professionals.
